Lily
Joshua Lockley made a film called Lily that made it to several film festivals. I created posters, postcards and other material for him to use to promote his film.
Using a font provided by Joshua, I duplicated the text layers and changed the opacity to create a shadow effect. As the theme of the film is loss, this seemed fitting as it almost gives a sense of lingering and like something (someone) is still there, yet fading. I used a 'Drop Shadow' on the awards to make them more legiable.
He asked for a postcard that would promote the film and mention that it is coming to Raindance film festival soon. I included the same font and added the logo for Raindance. All of the photos have also been edited in a similar style to the film (slightly undersaturated, soft exposure/contrast).
This postcard is one that has all of the awards, alongside the cast and crew involved in the creation of the film. This could be used for promotions and marketing, but is also nice for them to have as a keepsake/for their portfolios.
